The team story

Built to Win.

The Outback Polo team was built on a foundation of excellence, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to the sport. What began as a shared passion evolved into one of the most dominant championship runs in U.S. Open polo history.

Every member of the team brought unique skills and dedication to the field. Together, they embodied the same principles that built lasting businesses: daily discipline, teamwork, and relentless execution. Every practice session, every match, every decision was approached with championship-level focus.

From 1995 to 2001, the team achieved what few thought possible: five U.S. Open Polo Championships, including back-to-back victories in 1995 and 1996 — not through luck or chance, but through a proven formula of preparation, partnership, and performance under pressure.

The championship formula

The same principles that build empires.

01

Build Freedom First

Success in business created the freedom to pursue championship polo. Build systems that fund your dreams, not limit them.

02

Daily Discipline

Five championships required daily practice and unwavering commitment from every team member. Consistent execution outperforms good intentions every time.

03

Strategic Thinking

Every match was approached like a business challenge: analyze the competition, develop a strategy, execute with precision, and adjust based on results.

04

Team Excellence

Championships are won through partnerships. Select the right people, build trust, communicate clearly, and work toward shared goals.

05

Measure Progress

Track performance metrics, analyze results, identify areas for improvement. Data-driven decisions lead to championship outcomes.

06

Excellence at Any Stage

The team proved that with dedication and the right approach, championship performance is achievable at any stage. Age and experience become assets when combined with daily execution.

"The same formula that built Outback Steakhouse to 1,450 locations worked on the polo field. Set clear goals. Execute daily. Build strong partnerships. Measure results. Adjust strategy. That's how teams win championships in any arena."
