Long Bio

Tim Gannon's story invites us all to believe in the power of reinvention. Raised by a single mother alongside five siblings, Tim learned early that grit and kindness can open doors.

He began his journey parking cars at a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Starting from the ground up, Tim learned invaluable lessons about hard work and customer service.

With a strong work ethic and a vision for what was possible, Tim went on to co-found Outback Steakhouse. What began as a single idea became a global success, growing into more than 1,450 locations worldwide.

Tim's focus on hospitality and enhancing the guest experience truly set him apart. By inviting customers to choose and watch their steaks being prepared, he established a new standard for casual dining and made every meal memorable.

Tim's drive did not stop with business. At the age of 42, he returned to his love for polo. Despite starting later than many of his peers, Tim won his first U.S. Open Championship at 45 and went on to claim five titles before turning 50, showing that achievement is not limited by age or timing.

Today, Tim shares his journey to inspire others. Through his story, he demonstrates that dreams are timeless and every chapter of life holds potential for growth.
